My family and I want to visit our family in Mexico. We want to ideally leave Dec. 11 and return Dec. 25. I know we return Christmas day, but since Mexicans celebrate Christmas a day early, it really wouldn't matter to us or them. So far, I see AeroMexico having the lowest prices, but how can I get cheap tickets. Any strategies. Any help is appreciated.Anyone here have any strategies for cheap flights to Mexico during Christmas time?
I suggest you buy your tickets early as waiting will only cause the ticket prices to increase. Flying on Christmas Day may save you some money as people try not to fly on Christmas Day and want to be with family. Be flexible with your departure date. Sometimes if you tell the travel website such as http://www.kayak.com to search between 1-3 days outside your desired travel dates, they may be able to find a price that is more favorable.
Another thing is if you bundle airline tickets with car rental and hotel, sometimes you can save some money.
