I know everyone would like to know this! But I just entered a competition on the KLM website but the odds of winning are silly. Are there any other surveys or competitions for free flights that don't cost to enter? The absolute BEST way for free/cheap flights is to either work for the airlines yourself, or know someone who does!
if you go to the airport you can get a cheap flight on standby there is alway s over booking but not every plane ever fills up totally.

so one person could figurative select to be standby and get a cheap last minute flight to their destination pick mid week and late night red eye cause most people travel during the hours they are normally awake if they work days they travel days.

so try purchase a last minute ticket and get standby so if the plane is not full or some one is boot off you could get a 50 buck ticket to ny from LA and get on a plne leaving right that hour.

no longer than a couple days trying if your in no hurry to get threre there is a way thru bucket fares last minute travel.

Keep your eyes peeled for good deals. And although not booking to the last minute is usually counter productive, I would say that this is what you should do this summer. People can't afford to go away this summer, so a lot won't book holidays - the holiday companies will be forced to lower their prices. So yes, I would hold off for a while.
