i havent but my friend did once and he was there all day waiting and in the end he got a flight to florida from manchester for 拢99.

Yeh I've been and replaced people who don't show up, just for something to do one weekend! We looked around at some places we'd like to go drinking online on forums at:

and managed to get on a plane to barcelona from gatwick for pretty cheap as recommended by users who have done it before, it was reallly spontanious and fun!
It is very rare. The flights would have to be really wide open for a cheap ticket to pop up.
