Cheap flights to Scotland in winter?

I'm planning on going to Scotland this year around Xmas/Hogmanay time. Since it's winter, it's usually the off-season but with the holidays prices are still not as cheap as I thought they'd be. Does anyone have any recommendations for websites with deals or cheap flights? My dates are flexible.Cheap flights to Scotland in winter?
as a matter of fact the holidays along with the summer months are the most expensive periods to travel. There is no secret website or anything to get cheaper tickets, just remember to purchase your tickets 8-12 weeks before departure to insure yourself the cheapest possible ticket, since its the holiday give yourself 8-16 weeks before departure start researching 16 weeks before see the pricing trends and buy when you think it will be the cheapest which should be around the 10-12 week mark.
When searching for flights make your arrival point Glasgow, or just type in GLA. Glasgow International is the only major airport in Scotland.

Check out http://www.flyglasgow.net It will compare prices on all flights to Scotland.

You can fly direct from 11 US cities to Glasgow International Airport (GLA).
