Ideally we want to fly from Luton but if there is extremely cheap flights from one of the other airports I guess we can go from there.

easyJet fly out of Luton and Stanstead to Edinburgh. The fares vary from day to day, but for the 5th April the cheapest from Luton is coming up at 拢31.99 each, but this is 21:15 flight. The one nearest lunchtime (dep 14:35) is 拢49.99 each. (Flights from Stanstead that day are more expensive).
