Need some help and advice on finding cheap flights to Lisbon manchester UK return?

I am new to all these cheap budget online flight deals.



I am trying to help someone else with them who visits relatives but can't speak much English.

I think he is paying way over the odds, EG nearly 拢300 return for two of them.



What's the score with them, what are the catches and are you able to book return flights for the same price and how much do they cost?



Also are there any of these cheap budget airlines that fly to Lisbon?

Unfortunately, until March of next year, there are no direct flights from Manchester to Lisbon. bmibaby (a low cost airline) operates flights on this route for the summer period only. Easyjet will also operate flights from Liverpool to Lisbon at the same time.



With the limited indirect flights currently available with low cost airlines, travelling with a full fare carrier might be the most affordable and convenient option. For example, British Airways via London Heathrow, KLM via Amsterdam Schiphol or Air France via Paris CDG.



If travelling with a low cost airline is a must, look at www.easyjet.com and explore the few cities served from both Lisbon and Manchester and then look at booking flights via that city. You cannot connect from one flight to another with Easyjet, so you would need to collect your baggage and check in for your next flight. I don't think two flights with Easyjet would be too cheap, especially when you include the fees for baggage and debit/credit card payment.
