Anyone know how to get really really Cheap Flights?

Does anyone know if you can get v v cheap flights if you go to Gatwick and wait until free seat is availalbe?



Someone told me you can get really cheap ones if you wait at the airport until a plain is about to take of and then if they have empty seats they will sell them for 拢1? Does this sound like a lie or is there any truth in this?Anyone know how to get really really Cheap Flights?
Highly doubtful. If you walked up to the ticket counter and wanted to buy a last minute ticket, it would be extremely expensive. If you could buy a ticket for 1 pound on a last minute flight, everyone would wait until the last minute to buy their tickets.
There was a time when you could go standby and get really low cost seats but with the changes in airport security that is no longer possible as you need your ticket before you can get through security.



Sounds to me like someone is stringing you along.Anyone know how to get really really Cheap Flights?
No one is going to send you a seat for 1Pound.



Use your brain, if the airliner is about to pull out are they going to delay a 10 million dollar plane 160 other passengers, the entire air Crew the gate agent ramp rats and the baggage handlers while they collect the pound from you and allow you to seat yourself.



Just so they can fly you from whatever city you are in to Gatwick, Especially since the added weight, (even if you are the tiniest person on the planet) will cost them more than 1 pound for the added jet fuel.



Since you made a decison not to give a destination, most of the answers you will get are grom people who have a stock answer they cut and paste to all inquiries about cheap fares. Go to all of them and you will find something a ffordable.



There is no magic site that will give you lower fares that arent available to any other savvy shoppers
