Do You get cheap flights just for having a job with airlines?

If So which jobs do you have to do, for how long do they last and what are the discountsDo You get cheap flights just for having a job with airlines?
Any job for the airline you can do to get pass privledges. The one airline I know of the tickets cost about $20 to fly domestic but you have to wait on stand by. You get about 8 a year. However, it isn't worth it throwing bags for $6/hr or serving people for about the same amount.
As long as you work for the airline you get extremely low fares, but have to fly stand by.Do You get cheap flights just for having a job with airlines?
yes you do, my neice has been working for an airline for the past 5 years and she gets 2 free tickets a year (to any destination that the airline flys to) she only has to pay the taxes. She works as part of the ground crew. Im not sure if all airline jobs have the same benefits but if not free tickets Im sure they are discounted greatly.
Why not instead vacation at deeply discounted rates working as a referral travel agent?
i think u could get any kind of discount 4 working their but it may be a small discount.
I work for a major airline. I take phone reservations and service calls. You can also work in the headquarters in the human resource department or accounting dept or you can work in the airport loading bags. The airlines is like a mini city. Every job that you can think of is needed to keep the airline running.

I get free unlimited travel on my airlines even though it is standby, you have access to the number of people on the flights so it isn't that bad. I get 8 guest passes per year. 2 family members went to Hawaii last year for $230.

Also airlines have agreements with other airlines to fly standby for cheap. ($20-30).

If you live in a city that is a hub for an airline. They are probably hiring. They don't pay all that well but I only work 20hrs a week, if that.

It's the best job that I ever had.
