There is a lot to see in BCN depending of what are you looking for. There is a modernism route, there is a nice old town, you can go to the beach (although it's better if you take a train and go to Sitges, St. Pol, or other towns nearby, that have better beaches)... If you are not staying for long and don't want to spend your time making plans, you can just take one of the 2 buses that tour you around.



There is something called "Hostal" here, which is not as expensive as a hotel, but it isn't a youth hostel either
