I am going to Croatia in November and looking for cheap flights from Zagreb to Dubrovnik. Are there any local airlines like Ryan air air or easy jet? Or may be its better way to go there by train? The only airline operating this route I could find was Croatia Airlines. They ask for 271.65 鈧瑄ros for a return-flight ticket. Trains do not go to Dubrovnik. You could use a train from Zagreb to Split and continue by bus:

depart Zagreb: 07:50 - 21:33 - 22:50

arrive at Split: 13:49 - 05:49 - 06:56

depart fr. Spilt: 14:30 - 06:15 - 07:45

arrive Dubrovnik:19:47 - 10:45 - 11:45

Alternately you can use direct buses from Zagreb to Dubrovnik via Split

depart Zagreb: 07:00 - 19:00 - 21:00

arrive Dubrovnik:18:00 - 05:45 - 06:45

Unfortunately, Croatia Airlines is the only company that flies that route. Any other type of transportation takes very long. There aren't any trains, but there are buses.

I would advise you to perhaps visit Split first for a day or two and then continue on to Dubrovnik.

The bus ride from Zagreb to Split is not more than 4-5hrs if you make sure you get the one that takes you via the new highways. Then the ride from Split to Dubrovnik is another 4-5hrs.
