Does anyone know any good places to get cheap flights and hotel packages to Turkey in 2011?

I've been looking EVERYWHERE and everything is out of our budget. We need a flight and hotel room for 4 adults but all it looks complicated :D We want to go late July/August to Marmaris or Icmeler if its cheaper. Any ideas how to cut down the costs??

First of all, are your dates set in stone? Summer travel is usually more expensive because that is when everyone else wants to travel too. Can you go shoulder season instead?

As for flights, start by looking at which airlines fly into and out of both your home airport and the airport you want to fly into, and don't forget to check nearby airports. Hopefully you will find one of the airlines that have a hub in one or both of the airports.

An example for me is that Southwest flies out of Portland and if I want to go to Florida, it is WAY cheaper for me to fly into Orlando than into Miami, because Orlando is a Southwest hub city.

How do you know what is a hub city? Check their route maps, if they have a lot of flights going into a city, that is a hub for them. Almost all airlines will have their route maps on their websites.

Hotels? My favorite site is hotels.com, but I will use several searches before I book a room. We usually go condos because we like to save money by eating in, but that is dependent on your location and likes.
